Teaching Assistant

On January 29, 2018 - February 2, 2018 I conducted a teaching assistant that is assigned to assistant mentor and help all learning activities in class. On February 2, 2018, my mentor was unable to attend the class because of other activities and I was asked to replace his assignment to give the students activities and wait until the students finished. On that day I was accompanied by 2 teachers from TAU so I felt less nervous because they helped me. When I take care of them I am very happy because they are working on the given problem with the individual. When I found out something was wrong, I immediately contacted my mentor and he told me the right questions. When I will tell the students, I am very nervous because I first spoke with them. But when I explained the subject they listened and said they understood with my explanation. During my teaching assistant try to help my mentor in teaching, if my mentor gives me a job or asks me for help, I am always ready to help him. But there are times when I just sit back and watch how to teach good and how to master the class. I try to help if there are students who do not understand I help explain. 

 

 

As long as I run the Teaching Assistant I am also asked by my mentor to make the lesson plan, for the beginning I create a lesson plan with the format of my country. after which I was asked to create a lesson plan with a format or model in the Philippines. The lesson plan I made was corrected by my mentor because of some errors. and I am very happy that my mentor is very kind and willing to share my knowledge with me, even he will correct my lesson plan many times one by one very thoroughly. I got new knowledge about the types of lesson plan in the Philippines. I also learned a lot from other teacher teachers who came from TAU. 

 

 

 

On February 3, 2018 we went to Hundred Island, Pangasinan. We leave at 4 am because the place is far enough so it takes a long journey. We stopped at Jolibee to buy food and take pictures at Alaminos City landmarks. After that we extend the journey to Hundred island. There we boarded the ship and encircled the islands that were there. The beautiful place made our long sea trip unnoticed, from the harbor to the first island it took us about 45 minutes. We can see the beautiful islands there and there are many statues in every island. We only had time to stop to the 2 islands because the other island has many tourists who meet. There hundred island I had swim dipantainya. Although the water is not clear but the current is not too tight makes us feel the fun swimming there. And do not feel the clock is showing the afternoon and the sign we have to go back to TAU.
