Pedagogic Content of TAU


I. Learning Methods 
 
The learning method used by each teacher is different. Even each teaching teacher may use different learning methods, depending on the type of material and topic being taught. And from my observations on my mentor while teaching, he used the Lecture teaching method and he gave many examples of problems to be done for students because the subject taught is business mathematics so much need practice and guidance. On the topic I observed my mentor used Contextual Teaching Learning method.
But my mentor still combine it with student center learning. And he teaches the material to the students very well. He made sure all students understood his explanations and should be in a very patient way.

II. Teaching Materials And Innovation 
 
At the time of teaching my mentor teacher used the handbook and used the blackboard as his medium to teach because he felt more flexible. Teachers always relate the material to the circumstances that exist around so that students can better understand the lessons delivered. My mentor teacher also prepares materials for lessons like handouts that will facilitate student understanding, material-related drawings and sometimes bring other props.

III. Sources of Learning And Technology 
 
During my observation and observation of my mentor while teaching he always used the book as a source of learning and searching the material from the internet as well to compare or search for more complete information. Sometimes he uses the power point shown on television but only for certain materials. He also uses the way students seek their own information with observations.

IV. Authentic Assessment 
 
My mentor teacher is very varied in the assessment, one of which asks the student to make a business proposal and mempresentsikannya, and at the time of presentation should be as if being really presented the proposal to investors. For the best group will get the capital to do business. My mentor also does a quiz every material or topic is finished discussed, the quiz can be executed in any form. All activities and tasks assigned to students will also get value, and for the total value of the total value that has been made one and processed.
